Downtown Sunrise.

 
It’s finally that time of the season when the sun is starting to come as I leave my morning exercise class. No filters, just metered off the clouds.

I got this shot on another one of those early morning assignments. It was a half mile hike out because the road was closed for a really bad head-on collision, and then another half mile walk back. The day started off hot and later reached a scorching 100 degrees. I had a good sweat going before most people were awake. (7.22.12)

I don’t remember the exact temperature when this shot was taken at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, but the roads were icy enough that three drivers slid into ditches not far away. By afternoon, it was in the 40s, and the snow had melted. The following day it was in the 60s.
